  2. Throughout the exam you'll be able to move back a question (Previous), proceed to the next question (Next), flag a question for later review (Mark), and review your progress for that section (Review). You may navigate freely between questions to alter your answers at any time until you submit that section for scoring (End Section).
  3. To pause your exam, select Suspend. If there is not a Suspend option, close your test window by closing out of your browser. To resume your exam, navigate back to the test in your Study Plan and click Resume.
  • NOTE: Try to complete your exam in one sitting to best prepare you for test day.
  1. Once you're done, your results will instantly appear (except for any essays). To review your results later, just return to the test in your Study Plan and click Review. Next to the question number, you will see one of the following symbols:

Nursing NGN Exams
Next Generation NCLEX scoring allows for partial credit. Score reports will present the following result types:
  • Green (✔): All credit earned
    • If students mostly score in the green, they're doing great! They have a strong mastery of the knowledge and skills to succeed on the exam day.
  • Yellow (P): Partial credit earned
    • If students mostly score in the yellow, they've demonstrated an understanding of the material, but there is room for improvement.
  • Red (X): No credit earned
    • If students mostly score in the red, they've demonstrated poor understanding of the material and need to focus on those areas to build their skills up before test day.
  • Red Outline (-): Omitted / No credit earned
