Essay grading is available to students enrolled in In Person, Live Online, or Self-Paced GMAT, GRE, PCAT, and TOEFL courses. Note: The essay on the official LSAT exam is ungraded. 

How do I submit my essay?
Submit essays using this form. You'll automatically receive an email confirming your essay was submitted.

How many essays can I submit at one time?
You can submit up to 2 essays at a time.
  • If more than 2 are sent at once, only the first 2 will be scored. Feedback is intended to help you improve your essays, so please wait to receive your scores before submitting more. 
When and how can I expect to receive my essay score?
Scored essays will be emailed back to you within 3-7 business days as a PDF file including feedback. If you haven't received feedback after 7 business days, forward your formstack confirmation to Include your name, the test you're preparing for, and test number.
  • Please do not resubmit or forward your essays unless asked.
Who grades the essays?
Our Essay Grading team consists of Kaplan instructors who've been trained in the same rubrics that the official GRE, GMAT, PCAT, and TOEFL essay grades use. They'll give you specific feedback based on Kaplan methods and your test's grading rubric.
